Lee's Hopscotch shot to the top of my favorite dahlia list in 2025. In fact, most of Lee’s dahlias did (they are phenomenal plants!) Okay, “Why?” you ask? 1) Our earliest bloomer, 2) A prolific bloomer, 3) Sturdy plant with amazing stems and beautiful ball form blooms (I especially love when they wrap all the way around!), and lastly 4) This is a bi-color bloom, but on one plant you’ll have such a variation of bi-color-ness, maybe even just one petal white. Not everyone likes that, but I LOVE blooms that vary or change colors as they unfurl. Just saying, a real winner.
